Madeline Steczkowski - Studying Biology and Neuroscience at Penn State

Madeline Steczkowski is a Pennsylvania State University biology student with dual minors in neuroscience and information sciences and technology (IST). As a product development intern with Truss Health, she supports projects that involve patient monitoring, data analysis, and health care research and innovation. Madeline Steczkowski is also active with the Penn State Student Programming Association as special events chair, a role in which she plans events across campus. Engaging with students in ways that build interest and passion, she facilitates administration meetings weekly.

Ms. Steczkowski’s responsibilities extend to serving as a teaching assistant for Chemistry 110 at the Penn State Eberly College of Science. In addition to assistant teaching, she maintains office hours and provides mentorship and help with assignments. A Nittany Neuroscience member, Ms. Steczkowski takes part in microbiological research workshops, trading ideas with graduate students, including those pursuing medical studies.

Madeline Steczkowski enjoys working out and powerlifting, and is a facility attendant with Penn State Campus Recreation, where she is responsible for the cleanliness and safe condition of equipment. She has a strong interest in trends in biotech research and drug development.
